Is there any type of work CQR doesn’t do?

We hate to say no. Custom Quality Renovations has no project minimums and will NEVER try and sell you anything you need. You’re letting us into your house, and we respect that.

How long does a renovation usually take?

It truly depends on the size of your project and how quickly it takes for the appliances and fixtures you want to be delivered. A small renovation, like a half bathroom, only takes a matter of weeks once all materials are delivered. Larger projects can range anywhere from 3 to 9 months.

How much does it cost to renovate a house in NJ?

The cost of any given remodeling project will vary greatly based on the scope, quality of materials, labor required and conditions onsite. Depending on the room(s) you plan to renovate and the investment in materials, average cost in New Jersey ranges from $50-$200 a square foot.

What is my liability risk when hiring Custom Quality Renovations?

New Jersey state law requires all contractors to maintain an active general liability policy. It is always a good idea to hire contractors with both general liability and workers’ compensation insurance policies. Request copies of both insurance certificates before any work begins.

How many bids do I need before hiring a contractor?

Quality contractors will take the time to explain their budget proposal, and help guide you through the estimate process. Be wary of an abnormally low bid, they are not worth the risk.
